Can the Gunners come out Blazing??
4.8.99
So this brave and bright new season
is upon us, but beware; we are not being tipped as likely relegation
candidates. Beware because that's just when it happens.
But this is a wonderful time to be playing Arsenal. They may have
a hangover from last season when they in fact won nothing. It's
easy when you're on a roll. They've been tormented all season
by Anelka who, after one decent season in The Premiership now
feels he's too good for it. He's always looked a bit that way
to be honest - rather like he had an unpleasant smell under his
nose. Now we hear that Seaman, Adams and Overmars are all injured.
Mind you that still leaves them with a rather handy little line
up with a couple of last minute additions
But a Leicester fan will not be downhearted, we are up for this,
we've had a good pre-season both in England and in Greece so let's
go.
A new addition to our team will be Tim Flowers who should inspire
confidence at the back
We have said goodbye to the controversional Ullathorne . But Emile
Heskey has now signed on the dotted line and should be with us
for another season at least.
Arsenal will of course think this is a formality, they only have
to turn up to win but we'll see.......won't we? Perhaps
their newly revised machine will not properly be in gear yet.
Here's hoping.
