Sunday Football
I don't think Spurs are playing football on a Saturday until after
Christmas. It is apparently something to do with their
European excursions. I resent them playing in
Europe it should have been us. We should have beaten them at Wembley.
Ah well! that's all water under the bridge now, we've moved
on.
No matter what, I should imagine we'll be about as welcome there
as a ham sandwich at Bar Mitzvah, especially Robbie Savage. They're
still obsessed with Robbie, who basically loves being an anti
hero and will play out of his skin down there.
Actually I hope we thrash them mercilessly. Their fans
are in my opinion a very unpleasant bunch, not sporting at all
and they crow terribly in victory. I like people who are unbowed
but courteous in defeat but magnanimous in victory. Exactly what
USA are not in The Ryder Cup
I don't want to dwell on the negative aspects of Spurs, we'd be
here all night. Suffice to say their players are even
less sporting than their fans, diving is an art form with them.
I really enjoy watching Emile Heskey taking the grossly over rated
Sol Campbell to the cleaners and this year we'll be able to see
Tim Sherwood, another England player. hung out to dry by our excellent
midfielders.
If we get the bit between our teeth here we could be in for yet
another away win in London, the only danger is if we shoot ourselves
in the foot. We are clearly a better side than them
and I'm sure we'll be well up for this one.. Tony Cottee likes
playing against Spurs and I fancy him and Muzzy Izzett to score.
Forecast: Narrow away win possibly 2-1
Did You Know?
1. Tottenham Hotspur were originally called Hotspur Football Club
when they were formed by a cricket team in 1882.

3. They've won the FA Cup 8 times. beating us in one final.
4. They've won the League Cup 3 times beating us in a final.....grrrrrrrr!!!!!!
5.In 1901 they became the only non league club to win the FA Cup.
6. In 1960/61 they won the league and FA Cup double. That
was a truly great side.
