During the night if it rained we were often kept awake by a drip that came from either side of the van just by our heads next to the tailgate

We realised that it was water running down the rear air vents and dripping into the voids by the engine bay. It seemed to occur after the rain had stopped and the flow of water from the gutter was just right. Park under trees and it can go on all night

The cure was to attatch a cable tie to the bottom 3 slats on the vent and then push it right into the curve on the rear edge. The water then follows the cable tie and drips outside the vehicle
