The van's wheel arch rims were full of muck and allsorts which had led to a bit of rust. The sliding door seal channel had also rotten away. This I reckon was all down to the van not having mudflaps fitted to stop water and muck from spraying all up the sides of the van. I sourced a very good pair of VW mudflaps and fitted them.
