Bitches

rateful thanks to my two able stewards who managed to keep everything running smoothly in spite of the appaling weather conditions. Thanks must also go to the exhibitors for giving me a lovely quality entry and regretfully some lovely bitches had to go cardless. The quality of the bitches was really nice with none of the flat sided cardboard cut out dogs I had expected to see. Lovely shaped heads with correct depth of foreface, one or two light eyes, hardly any gay tails. Overall I was very pleased with the exhibits.

MPB. (6). 1. Chorley-Newton and Chorley’s, Outfoxed by Kerryfair. Very elegant baby. Beautifully balanced and so well co-ordinated at such a young age. Lovely head and expression. Good all round conformation and everything is there. She has everything to go for. 2. Williamson’s, Kirwilldale Acushla. Another quality baby. Good head, neck and shoulders. Body shape good. Strong quarters. Well bent stifles. Moved soundly. Just preferred elegance of winner. 3. Glennara Chinese Whisper.

PB. (17). 1. Hockley and Gisby’s, Balbriggan Ace of Hearts by Sutersett. Lovely quality bitch. Elegant without losing substance. Pretty head with lovely expression, eyes and good reach of neck. Good spring of rib, strong quarters with correct hind angulation. Lovely movement for a baby. Pleased to end the day BPIB. 2. Chorley-Newton and Chorley’s, Outfoxed by Kerryfair. 3. Kirkavagh Primera.

JB. (21). 1. Morley’s, Hartsbourne Jasmine by Kylenoe. What a lovely bitch. Good head shape with depth of foreface. Long elegant neck fitting into well placed shoulders. Deep chest, short over loin, strong quarters. As one would expect with these lines super co-ordinated positive movement. 2. Ellis’s, Brayville Love Affair. Liked her a lot. She has a lots of quality. Lovely construction, grace and femininity with elegance and soundness. Just preferred winner on the move. 3. Lynwood Theme Song.

YB. (18). 1. Foster’s, Shanoah Jammie Beggar. Quality bitch has lots to offer. Good head with kind eye and good depth of foreface. Correct shoulder placement, short compact body with strong quarters. Moved soundly. 2. Hopewell’s, Daveset Little Eva. Stronger type of bitch but scores in bone and substance. Feminine head. Lovely deep chest. Short coupling, good bend of stifle. Moved well. Just preferred elegance of winner. 3. Withersdale First Lady.

GB. (21). 1. Hiron’s, Loskeran Larch. Pretty bitch with well shaped head, nice dark eye. Good reach of neck. Good depth of chest with spring of rib. Short loin. Good quarters with correct tailset. Moved well. 2. Harris’s, Maesffynnon Mesha. Another lovely type in super condition. A bitch with quality and good conformation. Substance without coarseness. Moved soundly. 3. Barleydale Honeymoon.

PGB. (18). 1. King’s, Kirkavagh Jumilla. They just keep coming from this kennel. Beautifully presented in top condition. Good head, neck and shoulders. Good tight feet. Lovely topline held well on the move. Strong over quarters, good tailset. 2. Naylor and Morrison’s, Anlory Valpolicella. Another lovely feminine expression, good eye shape. Well laid back shoulders. Nice deep chest. Short coupled with sound quarters. Covered the ground well on the move. 3. Shadwick Magie May.

LB. (21). 1. Birch’s, Moyna Peach Blossom. Lovely bitch not overdone in anyway. Very pretty head. Good reach of neck. Sound conformation both front and rear, good tight feet. Moved with grace and animation. Pleased to award her the RCC. 2. Condron, Needs and Ginger’s, Covarney Catanna. Another quality exhibit. Has all the grace and elegance one would expect from a quality bitch. Nicely put together with good topline. Good all round conformation. Moved soundly. 3. Wishingtree Golden Legacy.

OB. (10). 1. Richardson’s, Kirkavagh Frivola. Very elegant bitch. Lovely head and expression. Presented to perfection. Good bone and lovely overall conformation. Sound but just lacked a little sparkle on the move. 2. Smith’s, Reddins Quiz. Different type of bitch. Lovely flowing lines. Head, neck and shoulders good. Body strong with deep chest and well sprung ribs. Sound quarters. Moved well. 3. Maesffynnon Ariadne.

VB. (7). 1. Wharton’s, Sh Ch. Delsanto Eleanor of Jennison. Lovely eye catching bitch with good dark coat. Sweetest expression, well chiselled head. Good reach of neck. Tight front with good feet. Balanced throughout. Pleased to award her the CC and with a joint decision BOB. 2. King’s, Sh Ch. Kirkavagh Kooyonga. 3. Sh Ch. Erinade Jaunty JW.
