developing on the right lines, kept a good topline on the
move, nice head and low placed ears; 2 Condron Covarney Inca
NAF. Well angulated hindquarter, moved with style,
attractive head with a quizzical expression; 3 Bettis
Thendara Decca At Ornella.
PD (12). 1 Walsh Janter Moon Magician Of Millcroft. Rugged
well balanced young fellow, with good bone, scores in head
with kind expression, eyes good deep, nice colour of coat; 2
McAvoy Cymbeline Travers. A lovely youngster who failed to
settle down, good body with well sprung ribs, nice angulated
hindquarters; 3 Tuite Rua Henri.

Balanced typical type with refined head, good finish of
foreface, up and well sloping back, moved soundly both ways;
2 Kniveton Burrenmist Hot Shot. Masculine d who combines
substance with quality, good spring of ribs, thighs well
supplied with muscle, powerful hindquarters, hence he moved
soundly with good driving action. Lovely, rich, dark colour,
kind eyes and expression; 3 Frampton The Pearlfisher Of
Strathmead JW.
YD (11). 1 Mugford Scotselaw Jackson At Lynwood JW. Racy d
full of quality, refined, handsome head with kind expressive
eyes. Good shoulders, fitting clearly without a break into
strikey topline, plenty of rib, good tailset, short and
strong from hock to heel. Covered the ground well. CC and
BOB; 2 Sturrock Forfarian Goodfella. Good head eye and
expression, with ears set on low and well back. Clear
indicated stop. Overall conformation and balance good, level
tailset. Stifle and hock joints well bent; 2 Stockton Kespas
Innuendo.

Kinsman. Stylish d with good head and low placed ears, well
bent stifle, good tailset, would benefit overall if he
gained some weight; 3 Pallister Corranroo Stars N Stripes

head, lovely eyes with a slightly wistful expression. Good
bone ribs and tailset. Handled with style and in excellent
coat; 2 Armstrong Atron Limited Edition JW. This untiring
readiness to go really is his happy disposition with typical
happy movement of his tail. Upstanding masculine d who kept
a good topline on the move, good bone and substance.
Pleasing head with lovely eye and expression; 3 Harris and

(Imp). 1 Stylish d who dominated the ring, good length of
coat and feathering. He flowed round the ring with drive and
enthusiasm. True Setter topline, good neck and shoulders,
lovely head, eye and expression. RCC: 2 Lorrimer Danaway
Destiny. Another quality d, dignified in appearance with
streamline body, good bone, moderately long neck, well
angulated hindquarters. Scores in head with a clearly
indicated stop; 3 Muir Grayrigge Ewan By Romarne JW.
MLD (6). 1 Meadows Gwendariff Moet Et Chandon. Upstanding
honest d with overall conformation. Nice straight forelegs,
deep colour of coat, good head, eyes and expression. True
movement when viewed from front and rear; 2 Holley Danaway
Discreet JW. Lovely specimen, typical example of the breed
with classic head, kind eyes and intelligent expression,
nice finish of foreface. Beautifully presented with an
abundance of coat, not so positive in hind movement as the
1st; 3 Lucas Caskeys Persauder From Amberlight.
LD (20). 1 Laidlaw Glencarron Macduff ShCM. Quality type
with lovely head, eye and expression, nice finish of
foreface, good conformation with stifles and hock joints
well bent, straight fore legs. Movements were well
co-ordinated; 2 Bailey Covarney Monello JW. Lovely type,
full of quality, chiselled head, with clear stop, ears set
on low and well back. Good angulation of hindquarters, keep
his lovely topline on the move; 3 Kniveton Shandwick Diamond
At Orstone JW.
OD (12). 1 Milligan-Bott and Bott SH CH Thendara Don
Corleone. Chiselled head with raised brows, good stop, well
defined occipital protuberance, shoulders sloping back into
streamline body, good tailset, ribs and hindquarters, were
presented with a profusion of coat; 2 Kniveton SH CH Orstone
Interceptor. Irish Setters needs some muscles, this one
certainly had some along with good bone and substance, deep
chest and adequate ribs. Scores in head, kind eyes with
intelligent expression, moved soundly with good driving
action; 3 Rielly Baibreeze Peer Gynt At Summergate.

BITCHES: Thank you for the excellent
entry. I was delighted with most of the dogs. My only
criticism is movement in the younger dogs, which was not
good with the exception of my puppy winner. Thanks also to
my stewards which helped me complete in good time. Irish

V (5). 1- Stockton’s Sh Ch Clonogeera Inspiration for Kespas.
Lovely smooth mover, excellent topline, beautiful head, and
still looking young. Best veteran overall. 2-Limpus’ Sh Ch
Shenanagin That’s it to Karidell. Nicely balanced
conformation, sweetest head, good neck and shoulder, in
profuse coat, well presented. 3-Stevenson’s Lochlorien
Sunrise.
MP (9). 1- Henderson’s Sametsuz Secret Affair. A really
stunning puppy who caught my eye as soon as she came into
the ring. Oozing quality, she has beautiful balance, already
delightful head, good depth of chest, and good shoulders and
stifle. One to watch. 2- Devlin, Peck and Riley’s Summergate
She Be Bad. Another very attractive puppy with good topline,
pleasing head and overall good conformation. 3-Laidlaw’s
Glencarron Red Hot Salsa.
P (9). 1-Tuite’s Rua Coming Up Roses. Very impressed with
this super puppy. Has lovely outline, great neck and
shoulders, good flat coat, well grown, good substance and
should go far. Best puppy in breed. 2-Prangle’s Tannymac
Could it be Magic at Heathclare. In excellent coat and
condition. Moved well, deep chest. Good forechest, well
boned. 3-Naylor and Morrison’s Anlory Cereza .
J (16). 1-Waterton and Dowle’s Barleydale Honeymoon. Good
topline, excellent conformation with good neck and
shoulders, correct flat coat, and steady mover.

TAF. Nicely balanced bitch, well grown, good substance
excellent conformation, pleasing head. 3- Swainston’s
Glenvarna Sunbird.
Y (20). 1- Perriam’s Elaphil Theme for a Dream. A very
pleasing bitch, well grown for age, steady mover but could
possibly move a little faster to effect. Great conformation,
neck, shoulders stifles just right. In lively coat and well
presented. 2-Barleydale Honeymoon. 3 Reed’s Tatterslee
Sunflower.
N (12). 1-Kerrisienna A Page in History. 2 Carr’s Jonola
Sparkles Bright over Laumidorn. In good full coat, moved
very well, deep chest and strong quarters. 3-Fernstart Irish
Rhapsody.
G (13). 1 Waddell’s Riqitta Tamarillo JW. Imposing bitch, so
well handled and presented. Best mover so far today.
Powerful quarters, lovely angulation. 2-Lyunwood Strans of
Silk at Sandstream. Very pleasing typical bitch, good
angulation, well boned very good stifles another good mover.
3- Spence’s Springle Selene.
PG (17). 1 Tuite’s Rua Primavara. Really gorgeous setter
which reminded me of the old Wendovers of the past. Superb
coat of rich deep colour. Beautiful conformation, great
quarters, well made with correct amount of substance to
overall size. Moved so very well. Reserve CC. 2-Stephens’
Tatsbro Rainshadow at Sacris. Good balance with very good
coat, moved with drive. No exaggeration in any way.
Excellent conformation. 3-Heron’s Caskeys Vivacious.
ML (7). 1 Brown’s Shandwick Jade at Tifoso. Impressive bitch
with driving movement, holding topline well. Very well
coated, strong quarters deep chest. 2-Wilkins’ Margaretwood
Perfect Day. Pleasing neck and shoulders, pretty head,
overall conformation good, moved well, good front. 3-
Perriam’s Elaphill Wild Rose.
L (14). 1- Foyle’s Margaretswood Just Perfect. Striking
bitch, moving very well in full flowing coat, deep chest,
good front and nice head. 2-Stevenson’s Lochlorien Miss
Marple. Well made with good neck, shoulders deep chest
strong quarters, showing drive when moving. 3 Cregans’
Wishingtree Golden Legacy.
O (8). 1 Henderson’s Sametsuz Honeytrap. A truly lovely
elegant bitch, all quality. Very hard to fault. No
exaggeration, everything in balance. Moved in an effortless
smooth action, delightful to watch. CC. 2-Ritchie’s Ir Sh Ch
Gwendariff Pop My Cork. Another super bitch, beautifully
presented in gleaming coat. Good reach of neck, overall
balance very good. 3 Gardner’s Sh Ch Congratulations JW.
