Southern Counties Canine Association Championship Show Dog Judge Jennie Reed Thank you for the quality exhibits here to-day. In Graduate, Postgraduate and Limit all those placed were in my opinion worthy of a first and all shortlisted could have been placed. 1 Bain’ Scotselaw Jackson More settled on the move. Balanced head for age with reasonable occiput and well –defined stop. Good depth and sternum with strong quarters. Looking to have a nice rich coat. 2 Murray & Roberts Colanme Wizard of Oz. Needs more time as less confident both standing and on the move. Balanced head with dark eye and a square muzzle. Puppy Dog (12) 1 Smith Reddins Tillerman BP A very stylish youngster with a super outline, good quarters which he used to advantage on the move Lovely balanced head with dark eye and soft expression. Plenty of depth for his age and good angulation both fore and rear. 2 Stubbs Clonageera Romantic Notion A striking dog moving well and in good condition. Loved his head with the pronounced occiput, well defined stop and dark eye. Not quite as well developed yet in quarters as the winner. 3 Bradley Clonageera Rumours About Fernhectare Junior (19) 1 Holley Danaway Discreet What a mature balanced dog really eye catching and did not disappoint on further inspection. In super condition and moving strongly. Loved his head which was refined but masculine. He has super quarters, is short from hock to heel and has depth of chest and a good sternum. 2 Tovey Brabrook Red Shadow – another lovely dog with a balanced head, dark eye, good front, in hard condition moving well through well developed quarters with the desired second thigh 3 Ross Autumnglow Zephyr Special Yearling (6) 1 Berry & Morris Brinara IndusJW A balanced dog with a good coat moving well and with style. Deep front, correct lay of shoulder strong quarters and a pleasing head. 2 Ross Autumnglow Legend Not as mature but a promising dog with exceptionally good lay of shoulder correct angulation fore and rear Head is pleasing and he should finish well. 3 Blinston Cataluna Mastermind Maiden(3) 1 Lewis Dotcosetter Damas a nice dog placed in the strong Junior class. Not quite the head I prefer but lots to admire and moving well. 2 Richardson Kirkavagh Stravinsky A young dog who shows plenty of promise and just needs to mature at this stage. Liked him. 3 England Colanme Kinvig Graduate (15) 1 Collum Kirkavagh Carnegie JW Didn’t realise this was the dog I put up last time I judged. Has matured very well. Not a flashy sort but very balanced and sound. Loved his topline with the good lay of shoulders, strong body and super sweep of stifles. Moved well and has a refined and pleasing head. 2 Schofield & Morgan Cataluna By George. The best mover of the class but not as cooperative standing! Has a, masculine but not overdone head and in reasonable coat, , eye catching outline with good body proportions 3 Mortimer Covarney Crusader Postgraduate (17) 1 Myers Astrazone Special Brew JW Not one I recall but will not forget! Lovely dog with all the essentials to go far. Very good rear movement which was not surprising given his strong quarters and good stifles Has a lovely head with the desired stop and chiselling, dark eye and square muzzle. 2 Pallister Cervantes Orlando Via Penwyn Another very nice dog with pleasing outline as he has the benefit of good angulation fore and rear. Has good width and moved well. Pleasant head as balanced and not too heavy. In good coat and condition. 3 Meadows Gendariff Moet Et Chandon Limit (25) 1 Real depth of quality in this class and headed by RCC Willis Aoibheanne’s Papillon Avec Jacwillins JW Was very taken by this striking dog. Has a gorgeous head with the stop and occiput providing the not often seen two bricks effect. Super topline as he is so well angulated both fore and rear, has depth, a strong sternum so a lovely front, catlike feet, short hocks and to top it all in marvellous coat. In the final run off for the challenge he was just a little loose in front. 2 Wilder Riverman Joshua Liked him as a youngster and he has matured very well. Another with an abundance of coat and in super condition. Lovely topline which he held on the move and was using his powerful quarters to advantage. A very sound dog. 3 Drinkwater Cataluna Texas Wild Open (7) 1 CC Ritchie Sh Ch Gwendariff Dom Perignon JW A dog on top form and moved with such style and panache. Wondered what was under all that allthe abundance of coat and found that he has a good front with sufficient sternum and has depth of body and second thigh, all sometimes difficult to see. Has a lovely head reminding me of his sire as refined in skull, good chiselling with the desired stop and occiput , dark soft eyes but with that seldom seen mischievous look. 2 Richardson Sh CH Kirkavagh Fidalgo JW A very different type of dog but one I have liked before. Not in such good condition as the winner and is a little lazy on the move. However he is a dog that scores in soundness, head and angulation. 3 Gurney Danaway Fortune Teller JW Veteran (4) 1 Price Severnvale Debs’ Delight No better mover here today and was seriously considered for higher honours to add to his tally of Res CC No older dog exhibited and none to match the superb outline this dog still has. Has the best of layback of shoulders, good front with the desired sternum, spring of rib, depth of chest and sweeping stifles. Head has the lovely chiselling I prefer and the stop and occiput as required in the standard. The greying face gave him such a soft expression. A credit to his owner for his superb condition. 2 Buchan Loskeran Eternal Spring Not such an oldie and unlucky to meet the winner on such fine form. Lovely dark coat, moved well, has good angulation and a pleasing head. Also in very good condition. 3 Ross Autumnglow Emperor JW
