DRIFFIELD
CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 2003 Irish Setters I
enjoyed judging but this was tinged with sadness as we do
not have any Irish of our own to show now, the beauty of the
breed is a pleasure to behold, however, I did find many dogs
with flat feet, some incorrect bites and many were changing
coat. I was spoilt for choice in the MPD & PGB classes,
which I felt were the most challenging of the day. Movement
was I feel marred by the high wind and flapping tent which
clearly upset some exhibits, the quality of the class
winners was gratifying and the upper classes had such good
dogs to go over thank you for bringing them under me.
