The Riverside Stadium's not quite full to burst,
With most fans, no doubt, really fearing the worst,
But football, it's said, is a funny old game,
So prepare for a shock now, Jose "What's-his-name."
At the end of the game Mourinho isn't seen swaggering,
For the Boro's display had been altogether staggering,
We'd sat there enthralled, full of sheer disbelief,
Overjoyed to see Chelsea's stars coming to grief.
Past the Billionaire Champions we had quite simply breezed,
And any relegation fears are now somewhat eased,
How we'd swept well aside, this great country's cream,
Please pinch me and tell me this is not just a dream.
From first whistle to last and throughout every minute,
One had a gut feeling that the Boro could win it,
Fans then went home wondering, yet totally delirious,
Why not every week? It is really mysterious.
