Unicorn Ceilidhs are held at Hitchin Town Hall, which is in Brand Street, Hitchin, Hertfordshire. It is in the neo-Georgian style with a lantern turret and was designed by W E Mountford and Geoffrey Lucas. Construction was carried out in 1901, on the site of the W H Jelly tin plate works, by the local builders Mathew Foster & Co. at a cost of £7,300. The building boasts a wonderful, properly sprung wooden dance floor, a separate bar and well-maintained toilet facilities.
