Geoffrey Storey grew up in the Africa of the 60s and 70s. A historian, he lives in Lincolnshire with his wife Penelope and his two dogs. He enjoys driving, boating, shooting, and the English countryside. He travels widely to historic sites to get the feel of his subject. He enjoys a pipe and a pint of real ale whilst watching a game of cricket on a summer's day.
He has recently completed Anabasis, resurrecting the vanished world of the Hellenistic Kingdom of Bactria and the Indo Greeks, the action sweeping from the sands of Helmund to the grandeur of the Himalayas.
