Geoffrey Storey grew up in the Africa of the 60s and 70s. A historian, he lives in Lincolnshire with his wife Penelope and his two dogs. He enjoys driving, boating, shooting, and the English countryside. He travels widely to historic sites to get the feel of his subject. He enjoys a pipe and a pint of real ale whilst watching a game of cricket on a summer's day.
Geoffrey Storey has recently completed Anabasis, a very readable novel of a vanished world; that of the Hellenistic Kingdom of Bactria and the Indo Greeks. Publication due 2009. He is currently working on a Greenland Saga
