About  puppets
puppets are based at Elim
Christian Centre in Salisbury. We are a resource for
churches and Christian ministries to use in
outreaches, services, teaching events. Our puppets
provide an entertaining show with a solid Christian
message.
How we started
The vision for puppets
came as a result of years of playing around with
puppets. Often I would be called upon to do the odd
children's slot at CCCF Rallies (Caravanners &
Campers Christian Fellowship) or to provide
entertainment for my children's friends etc. I was
quite happy to continue in this way until I attended
a European Puppet Festival run by One Way UK where
the Lord prompted me to start a puppet team and pass
on puppetry skills to others. I began by running
workshops which generated some interest but not
enough for people to commit time to practice. It was
not until the next European Puppet festival that I
realised the problem. People could not see the
effectiveness of puppet ministry from a workshop, for
that you have to see them in action. So starting with
my own family was born.
