The system is capable of up to 5.5Kw of sound - more than enough for the concert halls which are used when we put on the US bands and ofcourse, smaller venues. As bluegrassers and other acoustic musicians know, amplifying acoustic instruments, often with a plethora of mikes, with insight to our sound, is not in the gift of many live-gig engineers. Our own experience and bluegrass background, regularly using 9 or more mikes, in combination with other "d.i.'d" instruments has stood us in good stead. All of our sound kit is top quality, using Yamaha digital mixing, a range of most expensive mikes, excellent new Bose 802 Series III acoustic speakers and Bose MB4 bass enclosures.
