In a nutshell, it,s a fine piece
of kit.
What I particularly like about the pick up you sent me is the good
sturdy build quality. Especially the thick bomb
proof wiring.
Little bit of experimentation
with the EQ, plugging into the ACTIVE input on my amp and presto, a nice
faithful sound. I found the minutest of adjustments with the
sensor positioning in the bridge will change the sound
characteristics. Again, trial and error is the way to go ahead with it.
Good reproduction, and plenty
of volume without the cursed feedback!
Already gigged three times, it
gets better each time.

I didn't really have to make too many adjustments to the positioning. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to make much adjustment to the eq either, it is virtually flat with just a 5% tweek at the bass end. Normally I use two bass amps and a sub woofer when playing with the big band, and the next gig I have with them is on the 7th. June. I shall be very interested to see how it performs then, but if it is as good as the small band gigs that I have done (with just one amp) with it I shall be extremely happy." ..."Everything worked very well at the large venue."
