Hobbies/Interests
| My main interest is Rallying - I have been to a number of World Rally Championship Events over many years as you can see in other areas of the site.(Monte Carlo and Catalunya Rallies). But I have mainly been going to the Wales Rally GB, or Network-Q Rally as it was so fondly known as for many years. Recently I have had a go at Rally Marshalling - the first event I took part in was the Wyedean Rally in the Forest of Dean in February 2005. So why go Marshalling ? Well basically it is to get more involved in the sport and to put something back into it as marshalling is voluntary. The downside I suppose is being stuck out in typical rally weather - cold, rain, wind and even snow ! The upside is being very close to the action and helping out when there are problems. However I am just a trainee with one days training under my belt and have now done 6 events, so gaining experience. I also attend Pembrey Circuit in Llanelli as a Trainee Circuit Marshal, there is varied menu of racing held there and that has proved to be very entertaining, especially with the Truck Racing. However my preference is being out on the Rallies rather than the track although I do enjoy them both. I will be Marshalling on this years Wales Rally GB - looking forward to that ! |

With a few friends I am now a part owner of two cars (and a trailer), which we use on BAC Events at Llandow and Ewenny Woods, the cars are not hat impressive as you can see below but we have great fun with them ! This page still under construction........... more to follow soon. |

I have been a supporter and from 2005 a Governor of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (R.N.L.I.) for over 20 years, they have been saving lives at sea (mainly), for over 180 years, why not give them your support next time someone rattles a tin under your nose ??
