Lay Workers

Marilyn and Michael Manning have been the Lay-workers at The Brent Methodist Church for over ten years. They are both involved in the worship at the church - Michael is an organist and keyboard player  whilst Marilyn leads worship with those who preach.

They are both involved with children and youth work, helping with Cool Kids, The Rabble, F.B.I. and, in the school holidays, head up the Holiday Club - a whole church activity.

Marilyn spends a large proportion of her week visiting the elderly and housebound who have Christian connections with The Brent. She also works with families both within the life of the church and in the local community which surrounds it.

Michael is also a local preacher in the Methodist Church and they both lead bible study groups. They are also both involved in the ongoing Alpha programme.
