Trinity And All Saints Church

Trinity And All Saints Church was openend on 1st May 1899 and cost £7,700. It was Pudsey's most expensive church. It was built on the site of the Clock Chapel. One of the major benefactors of the church was Thomas Lund of Crawshaw Mills. He gave £1000 and also bought the enormous organ which dominated the choir and pulpit area seen in the right hand side photograph. The church soon built up a fine choir. The stained glass window seen in the same photograph was was donated by Squire Spencer ass a memorial to his parents.

The building ceased operating as a church in 1982 when the congregation united with St. Andrews Methodist Church. The building was then used as a Shopping Mall and Arts Centre. The interior stayed almost intact until the early 1990's when part of the building was sold as a licensed function room. Now most of the building is used by the owners of the function room and famous people regularly perform there. The stained glass windows are protected by wooden boards which protect them from damage but makes them impossible to see.
