The Leeds and District Traction Engine Club is open to anyone interested in the preservation and history of traction engines, steam road vehicles, fairground equipment and related subjects.

Social meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month between September and April at the Dewsbury Road Social Club, Dewsbury Road, Leeds. Meetings start at 8pm and usually comprise a talk or film show on traction engines or associated equipment. Anyone is welcome to come and see what we have to offer. Benefits include: Social evenings, a regular newsletter News & Notes, access to the Club's extensive library containing many rare and out of print books, access to the Club's photographic collection containing many historic steam engine and fairground photographs including some Yorkshire Patent Steam Wagon Co. works photographs, and FREE admission to Club events.
