How to find the pub
From M60Clockwise: Junction 21 signposted Chadderton. Over roundabout to traffic lights. Turn left onto A663 Broadway. 200m use right filter lane (at McDonalds) - turn right onto Whitegate Lane. Over mini-roundabout onto Thompson Lane B6189. Over mini-roundabout onto B61 Butler Green. At second mini-roundabout, turn left onto Washbrook B619 and second right onto Old Lane. We're on the left-hand side. Anti-clockwise: Junction 22 signposted Oldham / Manchester city centre. Turn right at slip road traffic lights (next to Roxy cinema) onto A62 Manchester Road. Take 4th exit on left onto Old Lane. Fork left at mini-roundabout. We're on the right-hand side. From M62Junction 20 signposted Rochdale/Oldham A627M. Take Oldham sign along A627M. Approx. 3 miles to end of motorway. Runs into A663 Broadway. Follow Broadway passing Chadderton town centre. At The Sportsman pub (on left at the traffic lights), turn left onto Eaves Lane. Follow road to right and turn left at mini-roundabout onto Thompson Lane B6189. Over mini-roundabout onto B61 Butler Green. At second mini-roundabout, turn left onto Washbrook B619 and second right onto Old Lane. We're on the left-hand side. From Oldham town centreFollow signs for Manchester A62, passing OMC Ford on left. Head down hill. At the traffic lights with Werneth Arms pub on right, take right-hand filter lane onto Spencer Street, running into Old Lane over the mini-roundabout. We're on the right. From Chadderton town centreFrom Middleton Road A669, turn onto Peel Street. At top, turn left at mini-roundabout onto Landsdowne Road, and immediate right at mini-roundabout by the Dog Inn onto Block Lane B6190. At the end of Block Lane (by Christ Church), turn right and first left onto Old Lane. We're on the left. From Manchester city centreFollow signs for Oldham A62 and follow Oldham Road for approx. 5 miles. At Roxy cinema, Oldham Road becomes Manchester Road. Take 4th exit on left onto Old Lane. Fork left at mini-roundabout. We're on the right-hand side. |
