Text Edit Software
Text Edit is designed to edit small text files, it includes a spelling check
facility which can be adjusted for all languages using the asscii
based character set. There is also a translator function which enables a word
for word translation of text no attempt is made with grammer or meaning
interpretation.
A dictionary may be derived from the currently loaded text or from a file.
New blank dictionaries may be set up and words added from texts with
known correct spellings
Open - Opens files for editing.
Save - Save Current File.
Clear Screen - Clears Screen.
Checks Spellings - Checks Current text against current Dictionary Database.
Dictionary:
Current Dictionary - Display Current Dictionary enables the addition and
deletion of words plus the ammendment of translations.
Change Current Dictionary File Path - Changes the currently loaded Dictionary.
Create New Blank Dictionary - Creates New empty Dictionary Database.
Add Current Text to Current Database - Adds the currently displayed text to
the current Dictionary Database.
Check Current Dictionary - Checks that each word entered is valid and has a
first letted between 'a' and 'z' and that the database contains each letter
of the alphabet 'a' through to 'z'.
Translate - Compares each word in the current text with the Current Dictionary
and where one exist and there is a translation set up, makes a
substitution. If no translation exits the origonal word is used.
Window State - Changes Edit Text window between Maximised, Normal and Minimised.
