Rosalie joined the Branch as an office volunteer in January 1998 and brought with her a wealth of experience, which she has been able to put to good use.

Her background with Llanelli Borough Council and Carmarthenshire College in personnel management and staff training made her an ideal choice to undertake similar roles within the Branch.

All sitters with the Branch, after recruitment and induction, must undergo training in manual handling and basic first aid. Ensuring that legal responsibilities are adhered to, as well as equipping people to undertake the task efficiently involves a great deal of work.

Rosalie enjoys cooking, decorating, sewing and listening to music. She also enjoys dancing and along with her husband Des, who is also a volunteer with the Branch, entertains other Branch members with their dancing skills at various functions. Rosalie has two sons, and one grandson of 5 years of age.
