Pauline Littler - Administration/Telephone
[Picture of Pauline Littler]

Pauline has been a Tuesday afternoon office volunteer since July 1999. She joined the Society several years ago when her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and found the Carers' meetings a great help.

After her mother's death, Pauline kept in contact with the Swansea Branch and was able to become a volunteer after being made redundant from her work in a doctor's surgery. She is now working part-time doing holiday and sick relief at the surgery. This means she can still fit in her voluntary work and look after her husband, George.

Due to George's limited mobility, Pauline and George decided to move to a Park Home just over a year ago, having lived in Gorseinon for 30 years. The move has proved very satisfactory, as they now live in beautiful countryside in Carmel, midway between Crosshands and Llandeilo. It means a bit more travelling for Pauline, but she is happy to continue working at The Lodge for the foreseeable future. With fellow Tuesday volunteer Anne Berry, she now arranges twice-yearly shopping trips for carers and volunteers.
