Menna Walters - Administration/Telephone
[Picture of Menna Walters]

Menna has worked in the Branch for three years as a volunteer and for six years as a sitter. She can be found in The Lodge on Mondays from 9.30am-3.30pm when she does administration and answers the telephone. She helps to sort out Carers' problems or simply has a chat with them. Menna looked after her mother who had Alzheimer's Disease for ten years, so she knows how important it is to have someone to talk to.

Menna likes the atmosphere and company in The Lodge and says it is "…something good to start the week!" As well as working at The Lodge, she also works in a charity shop in Gorseinon on Thursday mornings.

Menna has a son and a daughter and is currently awaiting her first grandchild. Her interests include the Llwchwr Historical Society, art classes, embroidery and gardening.

Menna's claim to fame is that she used to live across the road from Brian Murphy. The most exciting thing that has ever happened to her is being held up at gunpoint while working in a shop in London! (??!)
