Jim is one of the longest serving volunteers at The Lodge. He has worked there for 11 years, ever since retiring as a Psychiatric Nurse. He claims he was "head-hunted" by David Moss! Jim works at The Lodge on a Monday, and says his co-workers are a pleasure to know.

Jim has been married for over forty years (he isn't quite sure exactly how long!!) to Mary, also a psychiatric nurse. He has three children, Janette, Sarah and Michael. His hobby is travel, and has recently returned from Australia.

Jim loves sport and was a middle distance runner. He also became interested in boxing and hockey while in the the RAF for 11 years.

Jim claim to fame is that he has met Paul Thorburn, Gareth Edwards, Barry John and Jonathan Davies. He also met John Toshack in a garage! He is on good terms with Roy Noble, Frank Hennessey and Owen Money too!
