Georgina Goodwin was born and raised in Pontarddulais but since October of 2001 has moved to Llangennech, a little village outside Llanelli. Georgina's first employment was with Swansea Corporation Children's Department where she met her husband Alan and married in 1966. They have one son, Andrew, and two grandchildren, Natasha (8) and Jamie (6).

Georgina's interests are many and varied and include travel, reading, embroidery, flower arranging, live theatre, and sport, especially tennis, cricket and rugby (but only when Wales are winning!!)

Georgina has been working at the Lodge since she took early retirement six years ago, and says that it is a pleasure to go to work on Mondays. She hopes to be of service to Carers for many years to come.
