Chris Moss is one of the longest-serving members of the branch. From 1990-1992 he was the Secretary of the very successful Youth Branch of the Alzheimer's Society, the first in the UK, which collected thousands of pounds.

In 1991, for his work with the Branch, Chris received the Whitbread Volunteer Award for work in the community. He continued to be a member of the Branch Committee throughout the 1990s and in 1998 he became the Vice-Chairman of the Branch. In June 2000 he was elected Chairman of the Branch for two years.

His hobbies are playing golf and cricket and he is a member of Manchester United Football Club.
