The music was recorded to analog tape using an SY55 Synth.
I re-programmed and edited many of the synths internal voices and all the solos were played in real time, ie. not sequenced. The drums were input
and controlled by MIDI from another synth. It was all mixed on the fly
during the recording because... errrrr i'm an octopus - you might call the process slightly chaotic!

From the Sleeve Notes
' I've drawn and painted for as long as I can remember, and I still chase it. My visual work has always been paced by music in many forms. Most of the music I've previously played has been defined by the styles of others,
that's fine, but this is the first time that I can say; diverse influences notwithstanding - 'This work is mine and it can stand with my paintings. '

I recorded this CD in the spirit of a 'Limited Edition' artwork - as an affordable and known artifact. I am not performing it live ( but who knows? ) or promoting it. Music is just another 'THING' that I do. It's not my job and It keeps me smiling.

BUT - YOU CAN ORDER A SIGNED COPY OF YOUR VERY OWN
( err I think that's promoting it isn't it?)

: £ 14 (post & packing included) / Euros 22.52 / US$ 19.90. International money orders / personal cheques accepted. please make payable to David Harding and send to.
