SBC Road Rallying: Back in The Day...

National Student Motor Sport Championship 1996

As poverty-stricken students, road-rallying was a great way to get into motor sport.

This picture was taken during the 'Mindwarp rally', which formed the night section of the 1996 National Student Motor Sport Championships. I'm driving, Robert Procter is navigating. Team SBC came 2nd overall. The car is a Citroen Visa GTi.

Preston Rally 1997

Pictures from the 1997 Preston rally. Again Rob Procter is in the co-driver's seat. Car troubles meant that Team SBC didn't do all that well (note the lack of spot lights due to dodgy alternator).
