Traveling (by)

Plane:
Manchester Airport, then take the train into Piccadilly Station and catch the Metrolink tram to Victoria Station - make sure the tram is heading for Bury, not Altrincham. Your train ticket is valid on the Metro.

Train:
The Arena is built over the top of Victoria Station and can be accessed from the station concourse. Otherwise, Metrolink from Piccadilly, which is where Intercity trains end up.

Automobile:
M62, junct 17, Whitefield onto the A56. Head towards Manchester town centre, you will be able to see the tall CIS building from miles away. If I remember rightly, stay on that road and it will bear around to the left. You will spot Strangeways prison tower, and the huge white dome is the Arena. Turn left at Boddingtons Brewery, and first right into the Arena car park. Its about 5 miles from the motorway, but no tricky turnings.

Bus:
Locally, 5 mins walk from Arndale Centre. National Express buses drop off at Chorlton St station. Walk towards the centre and catch a Metrolink from Piccadilly Gardens, or walk towards the Arndale, then through it - the Arndale is sort of diagonally in between the Nynex and Chorlton St station.
