From the North:
Leave the M1 at Junction 34, and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout. This will take you along the lower deck of Tinsley viaduct. At the far end, take the 5th exit at the roundabout. This will take you towards Meadowhall, so mind the traffic; gets busy at weekends. At the next roundabout, go straight on (first exit) for about half a mile or so. You will pass a Pizza Hut and MacDonalds on your left. Also there is a Toys R Us. A bit further on, you will come to a set of traffic lights where you should filter left, to turn left. You can't miss the arena.
From the South:
Leave the M1 at Junction 33, go left and take the dual carriage way that goes into Sheffield (the Sheffield Parkway). You will pass "Home World" on your left. Carry on for a mile or so. You will come to an exit marked for Mosborough, but go past it, because the exit you need is immediately past it. This is marked for Meadowhall. Leave the Parkway here, and when you come to the end of the slip road, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout. You are now going down Prince of Wales Road. You will go under a railway bridge at the bottom of the hill. Go straight on through the traffic lights, and on for half a mile. You will go over a bridge and you will see Sheffield Arena directly in front of you.
The car park is pretty big, but the queues can be pretty bad. There was/is an excellent hot dog van outside the front entrance. Inside, food and drink can be pretty expensive. Coffee/tea, beer/lager etc. are on sale and there are Burger King/Pizza type places inside. There is a choice of pubs directly opposite the arena too
