IQ tests
Here are a few IQ tests you may like to try.  Try them out and think about questions such as "What is intelligence?" or "Are you born with a fixed intelligence that remains more or less constant throughout your life or can you improve your intelligence?".  If you can improve your intelligence then surely by practicing IQ tests you can artificially improve your score.  Are the tests culturally biased?  If you were to try two or more tests would you get the same score?  How valid and reliable are the tests?

Self Discovery Workshop. This is uesful for a quick test, but the multiple choice consists of just two options "true" or "false".  I think the test produces a score that is rather higher than it should be, so that you are tempted to buy the full test.

Rozies test (click above) is useful for psychology projects as you can print it off, and also you have the answers.  Rozies other test (click below) takes up to 50 minutes to complete and you have five choices to make.  This test provides quite an accurate score, but make sure you are familiar with the American coinage! (It is culturally biased).  The computer works out your score, so you will not be given the answers, therefore this is not suitable for project work.

Brain works.

For a lot of fun try this short test which has no right or wrong answers.  It tells you whether you are left or right hemisphere dominated and whether you have a preference for auditory or visual stimuli.  The program downloads onto a floppy for portability.  Great practical to link in with Sperry.
