BOPHOUSE at Studio 3 Station Hill, Bury St Edmunds, Thursday November 2nd 2006

Presents
FAT FRIDAY plus the BOPHOUSE QUINTET and DJ

Starting time 8.00 Admission £5
Bophouse continues its popular monthly promotions with 5-piece Jazz Funk Soul masters FAT FRIDAY. Fat Friday was formed by 5 like-minded professional musicians in order to provide a platform for their cutting edge funk that would not otherwise get an outing in the regular musical lives. It is therefore crammed with enthusiasm and passion. The line up is sax/vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums and is guaranteed to get the dancing feet going as well as moving your head!

FAT FRIDAY is fronted by popular saxophonist and singer Myke Clifford whose band CAPRICORN opened this season he also plays with the popular world groove band SCOOBS IN COLOMBIA. Myke is a regular compare at Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk Festival.

The band also includes master drummer and editor of drummer magazine Ian Croft who has toured internationally. On guitar Chris Newman has built an impressive career in blues and jazz and tours regularly promoting his Rory Gallagher show. James Docherty is a very talented keyboard player with his own band Split Whiskers and the bands solid bass player is Stuart Paterson.

The concert is supported by BOPHOUSE QUINTET which features master percussion from Gary Leach and Susan Szymanski and leans towards the latin edge of things!
