Presents Starting time 8.00 Admission £5 FAT FRIDAY is fronted by popular saxophonist and singer Myke Clifford whose band CAPRICORN opened this season he also plays with the popular world groove band SCOOBS IN COLOMBIA. Myke is a regular compare at Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk Festival. The band also includes master drummer and editor of drummer magazine Ian Croft who has toured internationally. On guitar Chris Newman has built an impressive career in blues and jazz and tours regularly promoting his Rory Gallagher show. James Docherty is a very talented keyboard player with his own band Split Whiskers and the bands solid bass player is Stuart Paterson. The concert is supported by BOPHOUSE QUINTET which features master percussion from Gary Leach and Susan Szymanski and leans towards the latin edge of things! |
