Anna's Third Berlin Operation, October / November 2005

We flew out of Heathrow Airport on the 31st October, arriving at Tegel Airport, Berlin at 4.30pm. On the 1st November we went to see Dr Waner, Prof. Jovanovic and Dr Kandilakis at The Benjamin Franklin Hospital in Berlin, they told us that the operation was due for the next day the 2nd November and that we should be at the hospital for 8am.

31st October: Anna before her operation. The red lines show where Dr Waner made incision's on the inside of Anna's top lip, and the blue areas show where Anna's top layers of skin were lasered off for skin resurfacing treatment.
1st October : Anna in the hotel room the night before her operation
2nd October : Anna in the hospital on the day of her operationl.
2nd October : Anna waiting out side the operation theartre with Dr Waners two assistance Esme and Susan.
2nd October: Anna went down for her operation at 10.40am and came back to us at 1.30pm, left is Anna just after she came back.

4th October: Anna had an eye infection later found out to be caused be laser iritation, her she is with Prof. Jovanovic

  8th October: We would like to thank Anna's Nan and Granddad Fred and Jean for looking after Anna's brothers while we were away, and also Anna's other nan Vi for making Anna's return extra special for her. We would also like to thank everyone who helped Anna and us whilst we were in Germany, Dr Kandilakis, Prof Jovanovic, Dr Waner, Esme and Susan. And to everyone who has contributed towards Anna's fund who made this trip possible.
