What does the Bible teach about the Trinity?

There is only one God (Deut. 6:4; 9:3; 20:4; Josh. 22:22; Judg. 5:5; Ps. 50:1; 71:22; 113:5; Mk. 12:29, 32; Rom. 3:30; 1 Cor. 8:4, 6; Gal. 3:20; Eph. 4:6; 1 Tim. 2:5; Jas. 2:19).

The Trinity is one God existing in three persons. He is not three gods! In Gen. 1:1, the Hebrew plural noun "Elohim" is used. In Gen. 1:26, 3:22, 11:7 and Is. 6:8, the pronoun “us” is used. The word "Elohim" and the pronoun “us” in the Hebrew are plural forms, not duals, so they definitely refer to more than two. They denote an aspect of plurality in God.
