I was educated at Queen Street School, Hitchin (which is now a museum!), then at Hitchin Boys' Grammar School (now called Hitchin Boys' School), and finally at Trinity College, Cambridge, where I read Natural Sciences and gained an M.A., although, since I started work, I have also obtained an M.Sc. in Information Systems and Technology at the City University in London.
I work at the Institution of Engineering and
Technology in Stevenage, where I am a Product Developer for
Inspec, I am a member of the
Institute of Physics, and I attend
Tilehouse Street Baptist Church in
Hitchin.
