Are you fed up with pop-ups that keep annoyingly appear on your screen as you are trying to surf the web?

Well, here is a website and downloadable program for you to try.

It's called Web Window Killer

It is a brilliant program for stopping those irritable little windows from appearing again.  Very easy to use and powerful enough to make your internet experience happy once more.

Cost: FREE (But a donation would be grateful)

Thanks to Bro Martin Curtis, Cornwall for submitting this one.

Do you suffer with loads of junk mail that takes ages to sort through and wipe off your e-mail client?

Well why not try Mailwasher

This little program is superb to sort through all that unwanted mail and bounce it back to them so that they know you don't want it.  It takes a little bit of setting up, but once it is up and running it is pretty effective in sorting out the dirty washing of e-mail.

Cost: FREE (But a donation would be grateful)

Do you have an anti virus program on your computer?  You'd be surprised how many of us don't and these are the people that cause major problems for lots of people.

Try AVG Anti Virus

Cost: FREE

This very effective Antivirus program is very good indeed.  It not only keeps your computer programs in check, it checks the boot up area, and can be set up to check your e-mail in and out to ensure that it is free of any possible virus.  It also regularly updates itself, but it's always worth that manual check just in case.

Ever heard of a firewall and didn't know what it was for?

A Firewall is a program which is capable of ensuring that hackers don't stand much of a chance to interfere with your computer while you're on the net.  It also checks your e-mail and asks your permission to open programs first before allowing any access.

Try Zone Alarm

Cost: FREE (limited amount of usage.  Ok for beginners)
