Born: Tilmanstone, Nr Dover. Kent. Enlisted: Dover, Kent. Cemetery:Tyne Cot Cemetery. The 1901 census shows Victor Cork aged 4 living with his Mum and Dad and 3 brothers and 2 sisters at 74, Upper Street, Tilmanstone. Nr, Dover. Kent. The picture to the right is of one of Victors war medals that I rescued from an auction in Ipswich in January 2006. This medal is called the Victory medal The inscription reads, The Great War for Civilisation 1914-1919. |
