The information below was Sent to me by John Horne:

My mum, her sister and their gran were buried alive by a German shell in 1942. My mum  and her gran survived but the sister Doris did not. Finding her name amongst all the others reminds all of us what a terrible time Dover went through.

The sister who died was Doris Moore. My mum married and became Violet Horne, she died in 1993.

I am currently researching the Guards Chapel incident  from World War Two, where a V-1 landed during morning service and caused many casualties. One of these was someone from Dover:
