| Section of War Diary for 28th Nov 1917. 2nd Battalion Middlesex Regiment. 23 Brigade. 8th Division. WO/95/1713. Line: Battalion shelled almost continually. Shelling became intence on Front Line. BELLEVUE 9 roads and tracks from 8.30pm to 10pm. Nearley all shelters of coys at BELLEVUE were blown in. 9 had to be redug when shelling slackened. Killed 6 OR, Wounded 10 OR. |

In 1917 Walter and Clara Cork were living at: 3, Malmains Road, Dover. St Martins Church was built in 1901.
