1939 - 1945

Skoda Comp. became a part of the German group Hermann-Goering-Werke and had to convert fully onto millitary production.
Besides various parts of weapons, there were different types of off-road vehicles as well as heavy RSO tractors produced in Mlada Boleslav during the war.

1946

After World War 2 the company was nationalised as Skoda AZNP (National enterprise of car factories). It was granted the monopoly on passenger car production. In 1946 the production of Skoda 1101/1102 Tudor passenger cars started, based on the successful pre-war technology.

1946 - 1988

The company began to loose its position due to rapid growth of western top technologies at the end of the 60s. The production was revitalised in 1987 with Skoda 781 Favorit models line of over one million units.
