History of Chaddy End FC

Chaddy End FC (originally ‘Chaddy End Boys’)
was formed in 1993 by John Clegg.
The first season was played in a friendly league
against teams of a similar age.
The following season ‘Chaddy End’ joined the
Manchester Youth League under 9's.

Today there are 17 boys teams, from under 7’s
to under 19’s and one under 12’s and 2 under
14’s girls teams.

The name ‘Chaddy End’ derives from the
Chadderton Road end of Oldham Athletic Football
Club.
