UK FM Group (Western) was founded on 19th March
1975 and its first repeater, GB3MP, was licensed on 1st April 1976
From a
group with 1 repeater, it has grown into the largest repeater group in the
UK with 19 repeaters on 4 bands.
The GB3LL repeater was the first 70cm repeater on the air in Wales.
The network is planned,
maintained & operated by the Group without any financial help from
the RSGB or any other organisation.

The Group publishes its newsletter "TALKTHROUGH"
twice a year
keeping its members informed of the group's

Membership is £4 per year - a modest figure of which
we are justifiably proud,
