I have had a keen
interest in
for over 50 years and obtained a transmitting licence in 1957
My wife bought me a Commodore 64 for the 25th anniversary of our wedding, and that was the start of the computing era. Since then upgrades have gone via the XT, 386, 486, to the P3 750 Internet PC in use today.
Eve (although severely disabled by osteo-arthritis) works one day a week as a volunteer for the 'Chester Crown Court Witness Service'.
We have seven children. The eldest born in November 1960 and the youngest in January 1973. Six of whom are married. To date we have ten grandchildren
We make sure each one gets our very fullest support, and we get on famously with them all, as they do with each other.
We have a daughter and son-in-law who live and work in Sydney, Australia.
They have been on the Internet for some time. It was mainly through them, I'm now on-line.
First it was for the economics of 'E-mail' but now it's for a lot more reasons.
We are now waiting for my eldest son who lives in Osnabrück, Germany to get on-line.
Who knows what the future will bring?
