TH-25AT frequency expansion =========================== 1. Remove battery pack, any external power and the aerial. 2. Remove the volume, squelch and tuning control knobs. 3. Remove the retaining nuts from the volume and tuning controls. 4. Remove the two screws adjacent to the PTT switch and speaker jack. 5. Remove the two screws from the battery plate. 6. Carefully lift the front panel from the radio. Don't break any wires. 7. Gently lift the top panel from the radio, pulling it forward then upwards. The BNC connection and "O" ring will cause some tension. 8. Rotate the top panel twoards the front of the radio to expose a small, 0.75" x 0.75" PCB. 9. Remove chip resistors marked R19, R20 and R21. Note, chips components are glued down as well as soldered. Removal is best achieved by crushing the components taking care not to damage the PCB underneath. 10. Reassemble the radio and reset the CPU. Information provided by Peter, G8TZY (Downloaded from GB7SYP)
