Extending frequency coverage on the Alinco DR110E
               =================================================

    a) Remove the top cover.

    b) Locate  the  yellow  link  wire on the PCB at  the  front,  near  the
       left-hand side.

    c) Cut through the yellow link.

    d) Perform a "software reset" by following the instructions given in the
       manual.

       Rx coverage is now extended from 130-170MHz instead of 144-146MHz.

    e) By  cutting only the blue link, located adjacent to the yellow  link,
       Tx coverage is extended from 130-170MHz.

    f) Cutting  both  the  blue and yellow links would,  therefore,  provide
       extended coverage on both Rx and Tx.

    IMPORTANT. Don't forget to perform the "software reset".

    On  my  set  I  have only cut the yellow link  to  provide  extended  Rx
    coverage and it works very well. It has neither jeopardised the warranty
    nor my licence (no chance of transmitting illegally out of band).
