GB2RS News for 22nd November 2009
Every week the RSGB produces a News Bulletin for Radio Amateurs and Short Wave listeners. They are read live on Sunday by a team of readers throughout the UK on HF, VHF and above. I read it in MP3 format for amateurs worldwide. This service is now some 11 years old. The text of the bulletin is available on the RSGB Site. GB2RS in MP3 is widely received. Welcome to listeners in Ireland, Scandinavia, Mainland Continental Europe, Turkey, Israel, Cyprus, China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and the Far East, Especially whoever it is who listens from Ulaan Baataar; South Africa. Canada, the US, S America and Australia and New Zealand are regulars of course and welcome to them too. There is a widget you can click on to see who takes the service. The format used is MP3. Please note: from February 2009 MP3 files are larger but should be better quality. Click the link below to hear the section of news in MP3. To SAVE the whole file use Right Mouse and Save. You can hear the news at any time and even to download the files for future use. Many countries including the US, Canada, Australia and others as well as Europe and the UK take part or whole bulletins for retransmission on their own services on local repeaters.
