last updated 01/02/2012 Here you will find information on my Magnetic loop antenna's, these small loops are just the thing for amateurs who just don't have the room for big outside antenna's, and also on a couple of EH antennas i made. Welcome to my web pages. My name is Bill and I am 61 years old. My main interest is in CW on the HF bands. I have been operating CW since I was 15 years old when I joined the Army as a boy. I was a radio Operator in the Royal Corps of Signals. I served just over 2 years at the Junior Leaders Regiment at Denbury Camp in S Devon. From there I went out to Germany and then served in places around the world, operating mostly CW. I became a Radio Amateur in October of 1980 and have operated with QRP and homemade gear for much of that time. Today I now have a FT-840 ,an MFJ-9040 ,MFJ-9020,MFJ-9040,a Wilderness radio SST-20 ,an SW20+AN FT411E which I use for /P when I operate in the SOTA program and a Realistic HTX-202 and it's companion HTX-404 for 70cms. I would like to express my sincere thanks to my good friend Bob AF2Q for sending me the above, enabling me to have the station as it is today. He does not deserve the bad treatment he gets from to many people. They really don't know him. I Hope you find something of interest on here, some summits climbed and some of my other amateur interests.
