Welcome from G4KKI

Royal Corps of Signals Amateur Radio Society

last updated 21/06/2008

Welcome to my web pages. My name is Bill and I am 59 years old. My main interest is in CW on the HF bands. I have been operating CW since I was 15 years old when I joined the Army as a boy. I was a radio Operator in the Royal Corps of Signals. I served just over 2 years at the Junior Leaders Regiment at Denbury Camp in S Devon. From there I went out to Germany and then served in places around the world, operating mostly CW. I became a Radio Amateur in October of 1980 and have operated with QRP and homemade gear for much of that time. Today I now have a FT-840 ,an MFJ-9040 ,a Wilderness radio SST-20 and some converted pmr gear for 2mtrs, also have an FT290R which I use for /P when I operate in the SOTA program.

This is not an official sota website

I Hope you find something of interest on here, some summits climbed and some of my other amateur interests.
