RampAnt is our second Ant-Weight robot, built entirely by James. Here is the current specification.
| Drive | 2 x SD-200 servos, modified for 360-degree rotation |
| Receiver | Hitec "Feather" HFS-04MC 4-channel. |
| Weapon | Wedge-shaped front and rear. Rear flipper powered by Supertec Naro HP/BB servo. |
| Batteries | 4 x 2/3 AAA 300mAh NiMH cells wired in series to give 4.8V. |
| Armour | 1mm polycarbonate |
| Chassis | 4mm balsa laminated with polystyrene sheet |
| Wheels | Base of plastic baking soda tub, with mouse mat rubber tyres and Dycem treads. The wheels are drilled with many holes to save weight and have balsa-and-polycarbonate "cams" on the faces of the wheels to provide a self-righting mechanism (srimech). |
